In that case, make friends with the bartender and have him be your wingman. If he sends her a drink, you're good; if he sends you water, move along. But if he sends you a pitcher of Long Islands, you'll enjoy it tonight, but you're not going to want to remember it the next day. ;)

Booked a hotel for Grand Forks next weekend. Thursday-Sunday, did priceline, so got a higher than econolodge quality hotel for an econolodge price. :D

That'll work. Another thing that works is to have a sober-ish friend approve all females. I have done this before, I would be drunk and talking to some girl and a sober friend, usually the dd, would just come over and say "no" and I'd just walk away. :p
