Somebody I've been friends with for 20+ years got a job in Lakeville. They wanted him to start right away, but he had to dump his temporary job first - so there was no gap between jobs, which gave him no time to look for an apartment or anything (he was living in the St, Clooud area). He asked if he could stay here, so I gave him the terms (I didn't want a situation where someone is staying here for more than a few days and not paying for it).

His original plan was to be here for only a month or two, but it's worked out well so far, so maybe he'll end up being here longer than that.

Nice. I'm sure the different schedules help out the cohesiveness, too. Being roommates with a really close friend is just as tough as being roommates with an acquaintance sometimes.

Yep. I see him for all of two minutes typically when I come home in the morning, and then I see him for maybe a couple hours after I wake up / before I go to work at night. Plus he's out of town pretty much every weekend.

Dirty - he knew me before the rape/murder threats became commonplace.

Considering a good private stripper costs about two or three bills (and I mean a non-skanky, HOT stripper, and nothing BUT stripping), I side with MNS. My buddy Temp went that route.

That sucks.

But it reminds me one of the two times I've lost my luggage was in Philly. The frustrating part for me was that they had made me gate check my extremely reasonably sized (not one of those oversized bags you know will never fit in teh overhead bin, but people still carry anyway) carry on in Boston because there wasn't enough room in the overhead bins. :mad:

The other time my luggage was lost was one time when I flew in Charlotte. But we only had 20 minutes between flights and I knew as we were running across the airport our bags weren't going to make it. I didn't care, it was worth it to get home earlier.
