Re: TRP: Holidays and New Years Resolutions

So, I played Wine Pong tonight and whatnot, so I think 3:05 AM would be the perfect time to get a headstart on next semester. This is the topic of the first informal paper due for my World Relgions Perspectives class:
"Address the following questions in an informal paper: What is a myth? What is mythology? Are religions mythology? What is atheism? What is agnosticism? Is atheism a religion?"

Any ideas? :p

Say that agnosticism is the view that the existence of "higher beings" is logically independent from the axiomatic system of the universe, and as an example you should re-derive the logical independence of the Continuum Hypothesis from Zermelo-Fraenkel set theory w/Axiom of Choice (ZFC). You'll probably learn more doing that than you will from the entire rest of that course.

The sender of that text is an.. interesting girl.

I was going to say that all of those questions seem to be a bit leading, but then you said the guy (gal?) is a Lutheran minister, so there goes that theory. ;)

Re: TRP: Holidays and New Years Resolutions

I love the sound and feel of Vitalogy (with the exception of the "weird" songs, but they're easily skipped). I don't think they captured it again until Riot Act. Those are my 2 favorite PJ albums, and Riot Act is up there on my all-time list, as well. And I pretty much completely disagree with your assessment of Vs.

I put Yield in with Binaural and No Code (I think I like No Code more than Yield), as they're albums I will listen to occasionally, and really like, but won't go out of my way to listen to, and may jump around the albums.

EDIT: And all that all of this means is that I have to make sure my iPod has all of my PJ on it, so that I can spend the entire day tomorrow listening to Pearl Jam. Pretty sure I have (way) more than 8 hours worth, though. Maybe just the studio albums...
We're going to listen to nothing but Pearl Jam the whole way home?!
(I'm not complaining, but can we add a little Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots for diversity?)

Re: TRP: Holidays and New Years Resolutions

I have to agree with bostonewe and CBG about Yield. Meh.

Re: TRP: Holidays and New Years Resolutions

Actually, no, the internet's just not working, furthermore no BBM, no internets, no AIM, no nothin'. It's kind of lame. :(

:D

Hey now...

I don't wear cheese on my head.

What she said.

Even the youngin' can respect that.

And to add my daily Miley Cyrus dose:
Got this drunken text from a friend's cousin:
I think I'm going to name my vag USA so that everytime I have sex, I can sing Party in the USA!

Are you a Yooper Packer fan? One of those people?!
