He'll come back tomorrow either way, but why risk throwing away money in the bank?

I look at it the other way. May as well go for a huge payout when you can't lose an opportunity to make more tomorrow regardless.

Flaw in that strategy: only the winner keeps their score on Jeopardy. So if you gamble and lose, then lose the next day, you wipe out. Also, from what I understand you are not allowed to return if you score $0, no matter what.

I think this was the best ever Final Jeopardy though:

Natural gas main explosion at about 8:30am in Minneapolis on 60th, right in front of the Cub Foods and near 35W. Flames shooting out of the hole in the road were about 200 feet tall. A few cars in the Cub Foods parking lot received quite a bit of burn damage. I saw a white Impala that is brown/black on one side, with its headlights and taillights melted from the heat.

No injuries, somehow.

The gas in the air at one point was 80ppm, now at zero. They closed valves and let the fire burn it off.

It's been different every year.

Year 1: Wyoming (postmark was actually Colorado)
Year 2: Tennessee (postmark was actually Michigan-was weekend of Frozen 4)
Year 3: Boston

My main suspect is wolverineTrumpet in cahoots with Twitch Boy the first two years. Boston this year throws me off. Also, a different poster is listed on the return address every year...this year is aparch.
