My mom's side is Irish, English and German peasants immigrating here in the late 1800's. My dad's side goes back to colonial times, big in PA, some of them were settlers of the Western frontier, the Fort Pittsburgh area.

Second generation Greek. All four grandparents from the old country. Mom's mother brought down from the village to marry. Grandfather came to America, left her in Greece till he was able to earn money to bring her here, along with his sister. My dad's parents met and married here, though I don't know if that was an arranged marriage as well.

I went to school (elementary on up) who was a direct descendant of Bach, too. So direct, his last name IS Bach.

No it's not. The Devils are a blight who ruined the NHL. They should rot in the bottom of the standings for years and it wouldn't be punishment enough. The Flyers are thugs but at least they haven't won anything with their thuggery lately.
