Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

amazing how stupid people get to read the news....

"there's the bubble headed bleach blonde
comes on at 5
she can tell you about the plane crash
with a gleam in her eye. "

I can't believe some of the stuff I've been hearing through the day.

Hilarious moment from the old "Mary Tyler Moore Show." Lou Grant furiously types out a bulletin. You see his beefy hand reach in and hand it to Ted Knight, who freezes on camera. A second later the beefy hand comes back into the picture, and turns the paper over.

What's that line from "Kentucky Fried Movie": "The popcorn you're eating has been p*ssed in. Film at eleven."

Just caught a glimps (on NBC) of what looks like a SWAT cop on camera, his look of relief, excitement, and satisfaction was priceless.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

This has been absolutely exhilarating.

Great police work. No innocents hurt or killed. Hardword (Thing) 2 alive and in custody. Yes, there's a lot of investigating to do on more than one continent. But four days after that cowardly attack, those a*sholes are accounted for.* Two thumbs way up.

*should have said "alleged" a*sholes?

Completely agree. It's probably to our benefit this manhunt lasted so long. If he had the strength to fight the cops he would have. The blood loss, exhaustion, and dehydration all combined to make him delirious and physically impossible to fight back.

Seems appropriate.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

How cool is it to see the officers getting cheers and applause? They've earned it.

Re: Trouble at Boston Marathon?

Anyone catch the SWAT cop on the PA from his Humvee as they exited the seen? "It was our pleasure....it was our pleasure...BPD!"

This recessional is beyond awesome. And well earned.
