Maybe BSU is Alice or Sam? Bit character, doesn't really make too many appearances, and if they went away, would you really miss them?

The Brady Bunch sucked.

Although, if we're all going to be inhabiting characters from <strike>terrible</strike> classic TV shows, I feel like its a given that UW take on the entire Happy Days cast.

Mavs finished middle of the CCHA standings, they're an exciting young team and I'm sure Blais will make them competitive in the WCHA quite fast! I thin both Bemidji and Nebraska-Omaha will have respectable seasons in the WCHA, probably with the Mavs finishing a little higher than the Beavers.

Off ice I expect both team to have really good attendance with the new conference/regional opponents including some big-name teams like Denver, North Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota . A very new thing for BSU to be in a league with big-name schools, UNO will have these schools instead of Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State.

I'd miss Alice. She had some great one-liners and slapstick. Remember the Hawai'i trip and the hula lessons? "My Hu went one way and my La went the other."

Have fun with UNO. They can come out of nowhere at you when you least expect it. ;)

I wouldn't expect either of them to finish in the top half of the league. I think the grind of the WCHA will get to them.

While I won't rule out a top-half finish for either team (Mankato and UAA had arguably their "best" seasons at the D-I level just after joining the WCHA), you are correct about the grind. BSU felt that grind (from being on the road for 14 of their final 19 games) last year. After starting 13-2-1, the Beav's finished up 10-8-3.
