That's a pretty nasty bracket in Green Bay.

Re: Too early for the PWR? Princeton and Brown say no!

For those of us who "live and die" for our favorite college hockey team, there comes a time when that is secondary. And that time came to Pioneer fans this weekend.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. — University of Denver center Jesse Martin sustained three neck fractures in Saturday night's hockey game at North Dakota and was transferred to a Minneapolis hospital this morning where doctors are deciding if emergency surgery is required to relieve swelling of the spinal cord, the player's father said.

"Pass on your best wishes to Jesse Martin here"

Re: Too early for the PWR? Princeton and Brown say no!

Brown, Dartmouth, Princeton, and Yale have each played two games, and none of them has played anyone else. Yale won both of theirs, Princeton lost both, and the other two split. So I would expect that if any of these schools were currently to be among the top teams, it would be Yale. Could someone explain?

Edit: Or is PWR so flawed that Princeton and Brown get more credit for having 2-0 Yale on their schedule than Yale gets for winning the games? That must be it.

Both of Yale's wins (Brown and Dartmouth) are excluded from the RPI because they would have lowered their RPI. They are officially 0-0.

Serves them right for scheduling cupcakes. :D

Oh God please let Maine play in Bridgeport.

Also, Priceless, where do you get your numbers? I go to SiouxSports.com but I'd really like to avoid giving them my service if possible.

Slack.net

Joe S' site. It's great because you can see how future games will impact the PWR, see what impact different results would have had and see what the PWR were on a certain date.
