The point I'm trying to make is, there will be a lot of Michigan fans at Hockeytown BEFORE and AFTER Michigan's games. I will not be going to the state-tech game because our check in time at the hotel is 3pm and we are going to go eat @ Hockeytown.

That's ok. You won't be missed when we all are enjoying beers at the Olympia Club in between periods and games and talking hockey cause we love the game, hockey in general and watch the WHOLE GLI. :)

I think I need more time with the wife. I'm finding that she keeps me in check a bit. I was kind of a di*k the last couple posts. That's bigblue's territory. Oops. :-/ Sorry, Bigblue. :)

I'd like to know from the MSU posters and BC posters, are you getting scoring from all four lines, do you have penalty issues, do your defensemen join the rush often, are you physical? Will you play an up and down game or are you more defensive.?

Personally, for close place, I like the bar at the Marriott in the ren cen, but it's most likely too tame for you. There are several good bars around though. You might try cheli's chili bar. You can take the people mover to it. If you have a car, royal oak is the place to go.

The girl is going to want dancing, is what I'm guessing. Probably somewhere with really loud and ****ty music and flashy lights.

edit: How far is it to Auburn Hills....as I form an idea and get a **** eating grin on my face...:D

BC is pretty much exactly the same style they've been the last several years: Fast. Very up and down. Lots of depth in our scoring... 10 players with at least 11 points, 8 with at least 14 points. Watch for freshman Johnny Gaudreaubey Baker, if he doesn't make the final USA World Junior roster. He is a magician with the puck. If he gets the puck behind the net, we're probably about to score. Kreider is a beast and is NHL-ready. Billet has emerged as our #1 goalie as a freshman, he looks very confident in net. Needs to work on his rebounds a bit, but how many college goalies don't?

We've had a rough go the last few weeks as far as wins and losses. Not too many people are worried though... Hard to be when you're #3 in the PWR. Honestly, we've been more concerned with laughing at BU's defection-of-the-day since the first half ended than with losing 5 of our last 9.

Tony Tiger... you fibber.

BC can't score a lick, slow as cold molasses, the D join the rush???... heII, they can barely cross the defensive blue line. Penalty issues, yes, but we have a great PK, so we don't mind.

We'll settle for 4th place. Could be worse.

Uh huh, we have seen you on tv a few times but it's not the same as live.
