Typical M******* from Boston. Seems like they're all *******s there. First time I've ever ran into any body from Boston, it was on a train from Zurich to Paris and there was this HS group there while I was an American riding in with a bunch of Euros. Every other word out of their snotty little mouths was a cuss word and all pretty **** loud and had no idea of what was going on. Hell, I met em while waiting for the train and had to explain to them how to pay for the bathroom, and to point out for the guys that it was cheaper for you if you just gotta pee. One of their girls couldn't wrap her brain about how it would be cheaper for guys to pee, but not girls. Bunch of bubble headed brats. I really should have gone up to one of the chaperons on that trip to tell em to knock it off, be ambassadors for America, but I didn't. Pretty sure I would have done it had it been after 9-11 instead of the summer right before it. Tony was probably one of the Brats on that trip anyways. Hope he paid to sit down!!

And they all missed to?!?!?! Apparently the tourist hit groups need target practice.

On the other hand I WALK through the city.

I remember just two weeks ago, we walked from our hotel to a park, and it was amazing. Nothing happend.

And later that day, we walked from our restaurant to the concert hall, shocking event happened- nothing.

And one of the mornings- we went out for a run up and down the riverfront, and was approached by nobody with a gun trying to rob us.

Detroit's a really interesting city that is just reaching bottom and looking up the tubes. The real issues in the next several decades will be in the suburbs.

Or better yet, drive over to Dearborn and spend a few days at the Henry Ford Museum and Village, aka The Henry Ford. You can stand where Edison invented the light bulb, sit in the Wright Brothers house and tour the River Rouge pickup truck plant. It's definitely a bucket list item.

I have too. In Boston I had to go into a closed area of a subway, hoping not get get mugged to buy tickets. Scared the crap out of me. never was that scared in Detroit. ever.

Should have lifted up your head and looked around. Funny to tell me to take off the blinders- I'm the one walking around seeing stuff, meeting people, and not having problems. Pathetic how scared you are.

I've wandered detroit up to 2am, never a problem.

Not all of us are thugs who can walk amongst drug dealers packing heat and dudes who will shank you if you look at them wrong. Congratulations, you're a tough guy. You've made it perfectly clear.
