Suggestions:
1. It's highly likely that Scott Weighart wrote a book about their 2002 GLI championship.
2. Sean Pickett's "database"?
Game over
Sailing?
I wish.
Don't think Mrs. TonyTheTiger20 would approve, though. Mostly because it's Detroit and she wouldn't be happy if I got shot. One trip to that city is enough for me.
Yeah, that should be a helluva 3rd place game.If anyone should be scared, it's BC at the prospect of facing MSU again. The result will be different this time.
Any TV for the 1st round?
Oh please. Quit feeding old stereotypes. I think there are sections of Boston and Chicago that are more dangerous than Detroit. If anyone should be scared, it's BC at the prospect of facing MSU again. The result will be different this time.

That one was teed up nicely, someone had to hit it.Does smack officially start today?
Yeah, there are. But is your argument really that the worst parts of Boston are worse than the best parts of Detroit?Oh please. Quit feeding old stereotypes. I think there are sections of Boston and Chicago that are more dangerous than Detroit.
Agreed. I'm hoping to stay in the "nice" areas downtown, where it isn't any worse than other cities. No way am going to be anywhere else in that hell hole, except driving along the freeways.Yeah, there are. Let's be real here. Detroit has a reputation for a reason. I'm not "feeding old stereotypes," I've been there. Outside of the few blocks surrounding the stadia, Detroit is straight-up Tourist Target Practice.

Here is a nice history of the GLI along with a list of results by year. So, does anyone "own" the GLI? Like, who is responsible for the program, or the trophy? Does any one particular organization or school have archives of past winners, etc? I was trying to get a picture of the BU team that won in 2002 (I think?) and had no idea where to go.
April 2010. Frozen Four. When were you in Detroit last? Things have changed. If it's been more than a few years, you are indeed feeding old stereotypes.
Or, I stayed around the stadia and didn't venture into the rest of the city other than driving through.Too bad they missed the first time...
Oh, maybe that's because there isn't such a sterotype, then. Shocking.
