Well here's to smaller venues then. Having been to the Dunkin Donuts Center (!) in '04 and Agganis in '09, I can only imagine the thrill of a capacity or even a 50% capacity crowd. No one was in Providence, and at Agganis the bands seemed to outnumber the fans. Of course in '09 every team was from some far away country, but this was Boston, after all, and, given the teams involved, you knew the hockey was going to be great.
Any venue that seats fewer than 4000 is likely to see near capacity crowds. As with the men's F4, a very large contingent of fans plans on attending each year, regardless of team affiliation/participation. (Granted the likelihood that the two heavyweights from the WCHA will be part of the mix helps drive this bus.)
