Breast cancer night was a big hit at BU tonight, a good crowd and an exciting game to be sure. BU was outshooting UConn by 26, but was down 1-0, before finally cashing in during the 3rd period for 2 goals. Poulin set the Terrier single season goal mark, and both her and Kate Ward have surpassed the season points record now.

Tons of credit to UConns goalie who had the force field up all night, until halfway through the 3rd where the wear and tear of holding off the Terrier offense finally showed.

The season points record at BU was 39points last season by Melissa Anderson. Catherine Ward currently has 20. Maybe you meant Jenn Wakefield? She currently has 38 so she should surpass it soon.

Agree with everything else you said. Great game and hopefully BU gets the sweep tomorrow out in Storrs.
