Trying to erase the memory of a poor week. I can see Maine/Union be a split, but picking the home team to ensure I got at least one right, although that did not work out well for me last week.

BTW...Off topic, but current plan calls for heading to the Frozen four if an ECAC team makes it in. If that happens, like to be part of another Frozen Four "USCHO" gang get-together. Hux and DC are usually up for that (as in they tend to be the ring leaders :) ). Would be a chance to formerly meet as the FF4 is in your backyard. Years ago, we met once at Chowder cup, but you probably don't remember that. You were there with your two co-horts.

I will be there if BC is -- otherwise I'm not sure I want to spend money to watch teams I don't like win BC's title haha. I would consider it depending on the field and the cost.

In 2009 I was planning on going no matter what and then it was literally the 4 teams I hate the most in the FF. We didn't end up going.

TTT - I think you're forgetting about the team you hate the most. They weren't there in 2009 although the school did host the event...maybe that counts too. ;)

We definitely need to have a USCHO posters event at the FF in Quinny. I'll be there along with Henri, Lancer, DC, and Hux. Tickets were $25 for the two-day package.

I could have sworn BU was in that one but guess my memory is getting worse in my old age!

That was the year with Not A single team from the East in the Final Four. Final four field was Mercyhurst and the big three from the WCHA.

The east teams all lost in the Quarters. Your Eagles lost to the Gophers. The Terriers did not even make the tournament. The four teams from the east in the quarters were UNH and BC from Hockey East and Dartmouth and SLU from the ECAC.

If memory serves me correctly BU did not make it in until two years later when the event was in Erie.

Oh I know it, I was there. That was quite the fun trip (other than the loss). Still can't believe we didn't tie it in that last minute.

I took a train round-trip from Boston on my own for that one.
