This Week In Hockey East, Volume II: Now Even Hockey East-ier!

Re: This Week In Hockey East, Volume II: Now Even Hockey East-ier!

Aggregates -- just got them out before tonight's results!

Northeastern 10 Vermont 2 TIE 0
Boston University 3 Harvard 9 TIE 0

Connecticut 0 Boston College 12 TIE 0
Maine 1 Providence 8 TIE 3
Northeastern 9 Vermont 2 TIE 1

Maine 1 Providence 11 TIE 0
Boston College 12 Connecticut 0 TIE 0
Boston University 7 New Hampshire 5 TIE 0

Vermont 9 Brown 2 TIE 1

Last week: 8 of 13 right, 9 if you count a 7-5-0 split on the UConn/Brown game as calling the tie. Wrongest was BC/Princeton (11-0-1, result = tie) or BC/QU (8-4-0, win to QU) depending how you count it.

What's going on at Northeastern?
They won didn't they? But if you're talking about generally (and Vermont outshot them last night anyway) they just have had a serious loss of firepower this year.

Actually they're playing pretty much spot-on as far as expectations, in my opinion. Which is to say, disappointingly average.

Northeastern dressed 14 girls last night..Some notable omissions from the lineup.

Re: This Week In Hockey East, Volume II: Now Even Hockey East-ier!

BU actually had a full roster last night at Harvard but for some reason LiveStats, or whatever Hux was following, only had a partial roster. I was at the game with Lancer. We were both impressed with Maschmeyer's play and Harvard's overall team speed. Emmy's crease movement and angles were so good she made the hard saves look easy. As for Northeastern, I know Povova has been out since breaking her leg back on Oct. 29th vs. BU. Esposito just came back from injury last weekend. Does anybody know why Paige Savage did not play last night?

Dunno, but Game Tracker and the roster on the Hockey East scoreboard during the game shows Northeastern with a short roster, including Maggie Demasi not in the lineup. But then can that be trusted?

Re: This Week In Hockey East, Volume II: Now Even Hockey East-ier!

So Dimasi Hampton Savage and Doherty all have concussions?

Hampton was a leg injury now done for the season. Doherty was back from ankle surgery but had missed a few games for small procedures hopefully that's all that was. DiMassi and Savage your guess is as good as mine.

Sinsigalli and Santostefano each missed a chunk of games for concussion but Santostefano is back at least, getting very worried about Sinsi.
