and somehow UML manages to be the most embarrassingly and the MOST terrible team in the league. Yes, worse than both providence and vermont. Look at your statistics, jackwagon. Your stupid team can't even get more than 15 shots a game. You don't beat anyone, you never compete against anyone. Hell, your school shouldn't even have a division one hockey team and you know it. I'm honestly just going to never leave your thread alone if this constant crap continues from you two. UVM's team sucks, but lowell's team shouldnt even be a division I, or division III team. Maybe club hockey is their best option. (Here comes the comeback with "oh we beat you guys 3-1 this year! and we beat you in the conference quarterfinals two years ago!) If that's all you have to hang your hat on (which it is), leave USCHO. Every vermont fan hates you, and every respectable UML fan is embarrassed to be associated with you.

How many GPG is UML scoring?

it's funny you mention this. i was just looking at the league stats and lowell has 2.25 goals per game. vermont? 2.22.

it really is incredible that a team with three freshman defensemen and two freshman goalies is struggling in the first half of their first year in college hockey! don't think anyone saw that coming. oh we what? we did? and said so? oh okay never mind.

Happy Thanksgiving all.. i think the Huskies will have their work cut out tomorrow. Vermont (Sneddon), always has the team at their best after a bad (unexpected?) loss. I think the UMass gm bodes well for UVM (far as the NU gm is concerned), & Northeastern will have to skate their best (with tons of discipline).. for a shot Friday.

On the other hand.. 3 gms within a few days for UVM.. i think BC will be the beneficiary of that come Sunday. I don't see UVM losing all 3 gms this week though.. again, tough matchup for the Huskies. Glad to hear its a sellout..should be a great atmosphere, especially for some of our freshmen..skate and have fun!

(not as much fun as this thread so far though..)

For the second time we seem to catch BC coming off a loss, hope the effort is the same as the last time against them and not like our other road games this year.

Wonder if losing by 5 to that powerhouse Minn St will quiet the dork duo for awhile. Nah probably not.

good call.

vermont has played 10 games this year. lowell, despite being terrible and freshman-laden, had two wins in that same number of games. twice as many as vermont.

however, that comes with the caveat that the catamounts are at a disadvantage, due to not having the luxury of playing a bottomfeeder like vermont.

First half of the year? Lowell will probably finish in the basement this season. Vermont is struggling, but will turn things around and has a very solid program and will be in the mix most seasons. Lowell has taken over the Merrimack spot of the league as MC has really turned things around the last few seasons. Looks like Lowell wiil be near the bottom for years to come, maybe getting respectable every 4 years when half the roster are seniors.

I don't know, Vermont looked freaking terrible today. I mean absolutely terrible. I wouldn't be too sure that Vermont is going to turn things around. At least not this year. Some good recruiting classes coming in though, so maybe next year?
