Rick Scott is a lying weasel and a piece of crap. He is also someone who defrauded Medicare and was fined over a billion dollars for doing so.

Snyder did sign the Medicaid expansion, so there's one difference. Then this past June, he signed a work requirement for it as a lame duck, following Red Don's lead, so fck him for that.

False flag!

Good enough for Flaggy, then good enough for me.

Re: The States: Why does Minnesota wanna be Kansas?

Its almost amusing (unless you live there) to think of the collection of a ssclowns the GOP had in office as governors at the same time only a few short years ago. I believe the careers of the following people overlapped: Brownback, Jindal, LePage, Christie, McCrory, Snyder, Walker, Scott, Rauer, Greitens. Its like a Murders Row of dunces.

Add Pawlenty and Palin?

Re: The States: Why does Minnesota wanna be Kansas?

On the eve of Rosh Hashanah, just days before New York’s gubernatorial primary on Thursday, a mailer sent by the New York Democratic Party misrepresenting Cynthia Nixon’s views on Israel and accusing her of ignoring anti-Semitism has inspired widespread condemnation, forcing Governor Cuomo to assert that he did not approve it.

“I didn’t know about the mailer, I heard about the mailer, I haven’t seen the mailer,” he said at a press conference on Sunday. “The way I ran this campaign, it’s been on the issues, it’s been positive. I think the mailer was a mistake. I think it was inappropriate.”

The mailer charged Nixon with supporting the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions movement, which seeks to stigmatize Israel for its treatment of Palestinians within its borders.
 Great work NYC DNC.

Seems like Cuomo is correctly treating the primary like the general election, as in its the tougher of the two races. I for one will be happy when this race is over no matter which one emerges victorious.

Knowing nothing about the primary, its probably best for Cuomo to not respond and thereby not publicize it.

I don't think its wise for any politician to ignore something and hope it goes away. I'm not sure of your age, but if you remember the 1988 campaign that's the advice Cuomo's father gave to Dukakis and it could have been the stupidest advice in the history of politics, at least up until somebody convinced McCain that picking Palin as VP was a good idea. :D

The lesson from the Dukakis campaign was don't go riding in a tank playing toy soldier. Youre up almost 3x...slinging mud with someone who's out of the race makes you look petty, campaign on yourself and against Trump's Washington.

I'd do all 3 frankly. 1) Why I'm awesome and you crave my leadership, 2) Trump + GOP are a treasonous money laundering cult, 3) my opponent is flawed for reasons xyx. In that order.

Makes sense.

Re: The States: Why does Minnesota wanna be Kansas?

And now it will be up to all of us to fix it all cause we know they are going to have their hand out...

Re: The States: Why does Minnesota wanna be Kansas?

I will never understand why we think this is ok as Americans. I just don't get it. But we do. Especially the folks in power (the rich).

'I Work 3 Jobs And Donate Blood Plasma to Pay the Bills.' This Is What It’s Like to Be a Teacher in America
By Katie Reilly

Why is this acceptable? And from the comments.

Really, for those of you who are doubting this let me explain. My daughter works extra jobs to make it. She is a teacher. Her only debt is a small car, and her car insurance. Her apartment is $970. a month, plus electric. Her salary is $37,000.00, but after taxes, state income tax, teacher retirement contribution, and health insurance take 40% then she only makes $22,000. She takes extra jobs to make ends meet. You do the math. Shame on you for judging and assuming that they are not managing their finances correctly or have too much debt. Shame, shame shame on you.

This country sucks.
