The States : red states in a race to the bottom

Sounds like he's from Virginia and was travelling to Alaska.

Also, Alaska is down to one federal judge because one just resigned due to sexual misconduct (three guesses at who appointed him...).

Yeah I got the judge and pastor mixed up...

Cannot imagine why we have teacher shortages. This was in PA, not sure where else to put it

one of the 13 year olds said “I’m 13, you’re 40 or 50 grow the eff up amd learn to take a joke”

she and her parents should be locked up somewhere. Ruining peoples lives and livelihood for clicks

But hey they held an assembly so I'm sure the teachers feel better.

It's getting harder to stay in the profession.

Ah, Texas outright lying accusing Biden of not helping Houston.

even though the gov has to request federal aid. Abbott hates Houston, he doesn’t want them to get help.

honestly Houston and Dallas can either start voting or get fucked. I have no sympathy for them. I’m well aware they limit drop boxes and stuff in the cities- but nothing will ever change if the people keep voting these guys in. Or should I say, continue not voting cause it’s kinda hard. You know what else is hard? Living for days without power in Houston. Dumb fucks

Hmmmm

State Farm Insurance is seeking permission from the Californian state government to increase insurance rates as much as 50%.

It is looking to raise homeowners' insurance policies by 30%, condo policies by 36% and renters' policies by 52%, per NBC.

You mean it isn't surprising drought, fire and flooding would cause insurance rates to go up? What are you a Communist?

You do know that if you live in Florida, you'll be lucky if you can even find homeowners insurance.

With rate increases like that I’m surprised they’re not just withdrawing from the state like so many other companies.

They believe people will pay them. The increases have their profit goals already baked into them. So if people are willing to foot the bill, they will just keep on as normal.
