Court of appeals just ruled that the DNR didn’t have authority to change lake Calhoun to bde maka ska, so today they said it’s back to Calhoun.

This wasn’t political this was saying the DNE didn’t have authority. Should be interesting

It does and I’m not surprised that an appeal won.

I live near the lake and there was a ton of banter on Nextdoor, including one where people who live in Calhoun Parkway were mad about having to change drivers license and title deeds to their homes.

It wasn't just the lake but the surrounding streets, etc, too? Ouch.

100% agree on Denali. Way way better. It ain’t close.

There’s a reason they call it the GMC Denali editions and not the McKinley.

Agreed but I can’t help but watch. Currently my neighborhood is arguing because a known conservative lackey sent all Edina a pamphlet talking about how non white kids have caused the downfall of Edina schools

Jeebus. I am constantly surprised how racist people can be. I don’t know why.

I think it was Jim who called me racist on here and I ended up blocking him. I later unblocked him when I had a bit of a revelation. I still think he was wrong about the particular thing he called me racist for saying, but eventually I realized I needed to be more careful about how I frame things. That and I realized just how racist as **** our society is.

We don’t like hearing it, but sometimes those wake up calls are necessary.
