The States: North Dakota is Still the Worst

Re: The States: North Dakota is Still the Worst

Michigan No-Fault is stupid and needs to go away. Thank God. Way too many people I knew back home would get a PO Box in a podunk Wisconsin town just across the border just to register their vehicles in Wisconsin. Also cheated the Michigan SOS out of the fees for plates.

It was so prevelant that there was a wait list for a PO box.

People from all over want other people to think they live in Wisconsin. You can imagine how nice it is to be the real deal.

It's like watching the kids from different short buses bait each other...

Maybe this is for super serious accidents, but in my experience in Minnesota, perhaps because we are no fault- your car insurance just tries to kick you off and use your medical insurance as fast as possible. I’ve had nothing but awful experiences after being hit by morons and having some injuries

Minnesota is no-fault.

Auto insurers have the ability to contest no-fault claims two ways, by arguing either the treatment isn't reasonable or necessary, or by contesting whether it's related to the accident at all. Regular health insurance might fight with your doctor about the necessity of certain treatment, but in general its easier to get health insurance to pay.

As a practical matter I personally believe you are much better off getting as much no-fault insurance coverage and underinsured/uninsured coverage as you can reasonably afford. That is insurance that you buy to protect you, not some guy you kill with your car. An awful lot of people going around with just the minimum amount of liability coverage on their cars (might be $15-30,000 in some states) so when they drill you, you're on your own unless you have a lot of underinsured/uninsured insurance.

As a side benefit of purchasing a lot of underinsured/uninsured coverage, you will also have to buy a lot of liability coverage, which again isn't terrible, especially when you get to the stage in your life where you have assets to protect. A bad car accident with a couple of victims will blow through $500,000 in insurance coverage in no time.

Bethany: Were they sent to Hell?
Metatron: Worse. Wisconsin. For the entire span of human history. And when the world ends, they'll have to sit outside the gates for all eternity.

The only place with more screwed up stories than Wisconsin is Florida. :D

In the South they eat Road Kill...in Wisconsin they screw it! ;)

Handy, someone has to say it:

"I'm fairly certain if you took all the porn off the internet, there would be one website left, and it would be called Bring Back The Porn."- Dr. Perry Cox, "Scrubs"

I think that’s good advice. It’s also why I have a sizable umbrella policy and maxed out on liability and underinsured. Keep in mind that $500k is usually a per accident max. There’s also a per-person max that’s usually half(ish) that I think.

You also can learn how to treat women as nothing but sperm receptacles.

The industry is voluntary. This isn't some 48th St hooker in the slums, you know. And the industry also has standards from what I know, about UTI/STD/whatever you want to call it testing, etc and other things.

Re: The States: North Dakota is Still the Worst

Arizona, who has vaccination issues, has declared porn a public health crisis.

https://thehill.com/homenews/state-...-votes-to-declare-porn-a-public-health-crisis

Virtue signaling.

EDIT: To be clear, no one should be defending the porn industry. It has plenty of internal problems ranging from frequent drug abuse to exploitation of damaged young women to inconsistent STD testing and resistance to condom use. However, compared to other issues that are far bigger societal crises (gun proliferation, mental health, anti-vax woo, systemic racism in the police force) porn is basically a drop in the bucket. If you're going to address it as a problem, you should be addressing all the aforementioned issues first.

When the Church stops pointing to Mary as the sole model for female "empowerment", then maybe your opinion on that particular topic will have more weight.

I got the term from Kep.

Holy Mother Church teaches you treat women with dignity and respect.

It's the boys that are the sperm receptacles.

It also says that women are second class to men and should be their servants. And that the sacred sperm is better off in the belly of a whore and not spilled on the ground.

But that's a theological discussion for a different thread.

Dignity and respect? Gross. When you don’t want women to have control over their body, that’s not respect.

And that's America. Why do you hate America?
