Except you quote him so people who have him on ignore have to read his tripe.

OK, I won't do that anymore. I'll grant that when I had Fishy on Ignore it was irksome to still have to scroll through his desperate flop sweat cut & paste talking points.

In just two years – from 2011 to 2013 – more than 27,000 people left Connecticut, taking with them $3.8 billion in income.

How many moved in?

It could be that people are leaving Connecticut because it's an incredibly boring state with bad weather. It's basically where Wall Street hedge fund managers buy their trophy wives a massive house to decorate, just to get them out of the city and away from the hooker n' blow parties. ;)

The good thing about CT is it gave my company hundreds of million dollars in corporate welfare to open up a facility at the UConn Heath center campus. Thanks CT taxpayers!!

Nope. There's one in the center of Wasilla. Very good Russian imperial.

Interesting read. There isn't much of a conclusion other than, "don't jump to conclusions," but I think it's still worth a read.
I will jump to a conclusion: the voter ID law is a red herring. Black turnout declined fairly equally in states that did and did not have a voter ID law, but the turnout in the states that did was somehow entirely attributable to the law? I also have a pretty strong prior that having vs. not having a black candidate to vote for is going to cause a significant drop on its own. Your stats had better be pretty tight if you want to convince me that other effects were in play.

Yeah Keith Ellison posted an article about it (I posted it in a former thread) a few weeks ago. It isnt the reason, but stuff like that surely doesnt help and should not be allowed.

Re: The States. It's 10th Amendment or bust!

Evidently they still have spines in Montana.

Greg Gianforte, Montana’s Republican candidate for U.S. Congress, is facing misdemeanor assault charges after he attacked Ben Jacobs, a reporter for The Guardian. There is horrifying audio of the attack and three Fox News reporters described seeing Gianforte grab Jacobs by the neck with both hands, body slamming him to the ground and then punching him in the face.

Overnight, Montana’s three largest newspapers rescinded their endorsements of Gianforte, all offering hard-hitting op-eds.

Gotta figure at least one of those papers is the Republican party rag, so bravo to whichever editor told the RNCC to pound sand.

Although we're greatly troubled by this action against a member of the media who was just doing his job, to make this an issue of media intrusion or even a passionate defense of the role of a free press during an election would be to miss the point.

If what was heard on tape and described by eye-witnesses is accurate, the incident in Bozeman is nothing short of assault. We wouldn't condone it if it happened on the street. We wouldn't condone it if it happened in a home or even a late-night bar fight. And we couldn't accept it from a man who is running to become Montana's lone Congressional representative.

Good. And to the brown shirt GOP candidate and his apologists: go f-ck yourselves.

Re: The States. It's 10th Amendment or bust!

Montana has huge early vote. Frankly I'm hoping this guy still wins. It will shine a light if he does and the people on the Hill already will have to answer questions about him.

I think with early voting you can show up on election day, nullify your mail ballot, and vote. IINM that's how they answered the charge that early voting would create a disaster in just such a case as this one, with a potential felon being elected based on votes already cast prior to the crime.
