The Sioux looked like they lost their game, not their name

Re: The Sioux looked like they lost their game, not their name

Well obviously there is no point for UND to continue on so why don't we have BC & tRodents play a best of three series, give the winner the 2011 1/2 championship & we'll just start the season over in 2 weeks.

May as well, UND with their current choke artist coach will never win the big one anyway.

Re: The Sioux looked like they lost their game, not their name

Most of us are merely cautiously optimistic. Given the fact none of our teams over the past four years would have shut SH out both nights or put up goal totals anywhere near what we saw this weekend, I think our reaction is reasonable.
Hey I don't blame ya one bit. They did what they had to do. This coming weekend is obviously a big test with the Dogs.

Apparently USCHO hires team spin doctors for writing articles now? That's how that front page WCHA article comes across...

I think BC would just LOVE North Dakota and Michigan State to roar through the season from this point forward, to make these wins more meaningful.

Tough to disagree with this sentiment. Nothing says die hard UND spin doctor like a Mankato grad from St. Cloud.

So stating last weekend was a step in the right direction = "hand them the hardware"?

ScoobyDoo;5223359Sacred Heart was a top 2 AHA team and barely missed the NCAA tournament when the schedule was put together. [/QUOTE said:
I hear that after Saturday's game, players from the two teams got together for a few pops and talked about how unbelievably cool it would be to play in the NCAAs. "Really neat" was were words most gophs used. Some of the gophs became despondent during this discussion and, given the Catholics' familiarity with guilt, together with their awareness of what their brethren had done to the gophs not many years ago, things became a little uncomfortable.

But the midwesterners' sense of humility and desperate need to be loved saved the evening when the gophers laughed and said "That's OK, our hockey has sucked for years!" God bless those Wobegoners.
