That's zir orientation. Totally different thing from identification. My orientation is het male. My identification is cis male. It's OK to call me a cishet male, which is just the hyphenated term.

It's actually straightforward, people just flip out.

I had no idea that stuff existed. Learn their pronouns?, **** that, I'm too old to learn new pronouns

I worked in civil rights law for 4.5 years. I handled a handful of complaints regarding transgendered people (some founded, some not). The pronoun shiat is as bad as the "herstory" crap.

Especially when we have a perfectly good pronoun for singular ungendered that everybody uses except they won't admit it because it's not in Strunk & White. Just use they / them / their. It's unambiguous when in context and everybody already hears it 500 times a day and doesn't bat an eye.

If it walks like a threat and smells like a threat, then it's not a threat. Is that guy for real?

I've found it's the way Republicans all think of each other. When they're running against one another they'll tear each other apart. But, when one of them is in authority they're lock step no matter the direction.

Good to know the president's fully on board supporting legislation that doesn't even come close to what he promised people in the campaign. So he won't mind when we call it Trumpcare and hang it on his and every republican running for re-election's neck. He owns it now.
