Dammit ESPN. Golden chance to get more people excited about soccer and now we have to sit here and wait another 35 minutes to the actual draw.

How many non-soccer fans are going to stick around till 12:45 after you advertised all week the draw would be at noon?

ESPN. Fail.

As a soccer fan I don't plan to turn on the TV/computer until 12:40.

How is this thing going to go? Do they pick the entire group at once or place one team from each pot in its group individually?

Supposedly they're going to go pot by pot. It looks like they're also going to seed the teams, though that's just ESPN's guess. Nothing in the announced rules says they're going to seed teams.

If CBS waited 45 minutes to reveal the 1 seeds in March, Black Rock would be burned to the ground.

Pot 1 picked 1st
South Africa goes in Group A. Then the rest are "randomly" drawn to Groups B - H.

Draw Pot B. As they are lifted out, they are put in Groups A - H.

Repeat for all other pots.

No more than 2 Euro teams can be in the same pool.

Jesus...I'm either hoping A. The US gets placed in the same group as them so the Yanks can kick their arse and we can hear this *******es excuses about why the Brits lost or they get placed in the group of death with Ivory Coast, Portugal, Mexico or something like that.
