Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

No. The Jets have been "injured" at least 3 times this game when the Pats were hurrying up.

Not that the Pats are in any danger of winning this game to begin with...

Oh yeah, I'm not saying they're not doing it, just thought it was odd to do it in that situation.

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

Awesome how you ignored my second sentence.

Don't get whiny. You're the one that likes to go to Indianapolis websites after the Colts lose to troll. You're hardly in a position to pout and act holier-than-thou.

That was 7 years ago. Way to bring up recent history.

i'll post that again so it'll be the third sentence: they weren't going to win this game anyways.

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

I get to have the dilemma of what team I want to win the AFC Title. My dad's team (Jets) or my fiance's (Steelers). They both can be insufferable. As a Bills fan, I'll check you later. I'm going to find a shower curtain to swing from.

My in laws are going to be ridiculous should the Packers win next week....

Hence, why I rooted for the Pats and Ravens to win so they can feel my misery. If I am going to be mad, I want everyone else to feel it.

Have you been secretly rooting for the Friars for past 9 years too?

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

How in the hell have the Bears and Packers only met in the playoffs once before? It's amazing how, historically, when one team is good, the other it bad...

I'm a hockey and baseball guy, with football a solid third (but definatly behind the other two). I don't think I've ever been this excited about a Bears non-Super Bowl game before.

Re: The NFL Thread (cont'd)

The buildup to this game might kill me.

I'm so pumped for next Sunday. And I'm also absolutely dreading the notion that the Packers could lose.

And two weeks after Pearl Harbor nonetheless! Amazing.

The Pack are an early 3 point favorite. As they should be.

Two six seeds in the Roman Numeral game? Could happen.

IIRC, the Vikes and the Pack have only played 1 playoff game before.

It's odd how that all works out.
