Drunk at 6:30 on a Sunday. That shows initiative!I convinced my wife to go to Gamuardiaba of the Gakaxy with me...sadly she regrets her decision. I just don't think she can suspend disbelief when it's so science fiction...sad.
Should have went to Guardians of the Galaxy then.I convinced my wife to go to Gamuardiaba of the Gakaxy with me...sadly she regrets her decision. I just don't think she can suspend disbelief when it's so science fiction...sad.
With Robin Williams in the spotlight and all: Is Patch Adams really that bad of a movie?
I've never seen it, but watched the trailer last night and apart from the stereotypical "commoner goes up against The Man" story arc it seems like it'd be great, but I saw the actual Patch Adams said it was terrible and it's been brought up in three different articles of Williams today about how his choice of movies was incredible to questionable. Each one put Patch Adams on the questionable end.

Rock Of Ages is on. I'm sorry, but this is such a wonderfully horrible movie.
I'll see your movie and raise you that I saw it performed live on a cruise ship and loved it. The only thing I've seen to rival its pure shlock joy is Roadhouse.
Thunderheart
White man bad, feather Indian good. Find self. Meh. Total meh. Yes, I know it was based on real events, but the writing was not good at all. Val Kilmer mailed in his role, too. Ted Thin Elk was great, as was Graham Greene. Great jobs in their roles.
I couldn't disagree more with your overall opinion on the movie. I think It was powerful, well written and received by those in the know, and imho Kilmer was miles away from mailing it in.
