Boot_Jim_Roque........are you the only one on this post who's not a moron? If you have nothing positive to contribute, why do you waste the time and space on this site?

Re: "The Lake Show" - LSSU Laker Hockey

Boot_Jim_Roque, I don't know what you are up to, nor how smart you really are.

If your point is to tell people about J Roque and why he is not the right man (which may be most readers can agree on), why don't you just address that point, and bring in all facts and analysis you have to convince those wh doubt. You seem to having been around for a while, so you certainly have things to say (not about 10 years ago).

May be you just criticize, but don't even know you are right or wrong (indeed there is a lot to say, so if you haven't any clue, you are definitely a moron).

Just blindly throwing stereotyped jokes and insults at almost anybody, goes against the points you (apparently) want to make (and serve J Roque or whoever you attack).

If you are just seeking out some kind of therapy to lighten a burden of bitterness, you must have noticed that there is no improvement.
Why don't you just tell us what is wrong and why this anger, and may be people will understand and help you.

Any comment about the game ?

K2 played real well and made a few huge saves last night. Monardo impresses me more each game he plays. BC called it right when he said Sternberg was a high energy guy, he will be a fan favorite as he gets more seasoned. Bruneteau has to be more sure of his passes, thats two games this year he coughed it up for a great scoring chance for the other team. K2 saved his bacon this time Beemer had no chance last time.

The refs on friday did a pretty good job but last night was terrible. A person wouldn't even think they were the same refs doing each game. The elbowing call on Power was one of the worst i have seen in a while and it hurt because Colgate scored on that PP chance. I can only imagine having to play with this inconsistance and incompetence it's hard enough watching it. Good job Lakers !!!

I am simply pointing out some things to you doorknobs that I find obvious but "y'all" can't seem to grasp. You can call it tough love Mr. Fricker. Please be safe on your travels through the galaxy. Thank you. p.s remember if you run into Kirk please say hello for me.

Sternberg has the potential to be a really good offensive defenseman. He mainly needs more experience at this point.

Sir please stop with your idiocy. You have proven your point. We can now get that non profit put together to help pay for your lobotomy. No further evidence is necessary on your part to show that you are lacking a functioning brain.

Give her a break. It's been a very difficult time for her after the two Laker wins. Perhaps her other "friends"/nicknames (TruthSquad, TruthSerum, etc.) will help console her.

Another week with no streaming of the Laker Hockey Show. Anyone up in the Soo know what the holdup is? It shouldn't take this long to get the WKNW website back in operation.

Yah, it would be nice to see them compete with Miami both games right to the end. Any points they can get would be a big bonus, but even competing on a fairly even basis would be great for their confidence. Their goal should be to give themselves a chance to get points both nights by staying in the games to the finish.

There are few friends on here or objective people who can or did appreciate and instead ran out of town or off campus the good people who have won championships, built programs and made Laker hockey what it once was.

Now it is a shadow of it's former self and greatness that was started in the mid-1980's. Instead you people have the sixth year of an administration that has gotten them no where, you play in front of half empty rinks and you finish further and further down the standings every year. Yet you people want to make the same excuses year after year, it's not fair for the Lakers, it's not like it used to be, etc. And anyone who dares offers constructive criticism is shouted down like they are crazy. Even your announcer has turned cheerleader. They could all take a page from announcers like Francis Anzalone on how to be objective.

The Truth Is Out There....

If this happened to NMU than imagine what will happen to the Lakers this weekend. It could easily be 20 something to 1 lol. Well at least we have the head of the Pom Pom squad Bill Crawford there to cheer them on. Hopefully Bill C.'s got some new cheers ready for this weekend. He should use one I came up with; give me an M, give me an O, give me an R, give me another O, and give me and N, what does it spell ROQUE, ROQUE, ROQUE!!!

We were all impressed with their play last Saturday. They seemed to show up to play; they reminded me of the team who played Minn-Duluth. If that team shows up it will be a fun season. I have been to 4 of the home games so far and have been very surprised at the poor officiating in each game. Saturday on several occasions I saw different Laker players looking over their shoulders to see if they were going to be penalized; in my mind this when the officials have taken over the game. Generally speaking I expect a game to be called even, which hasn't been done yet. While there are many aspects of a team scoring or not scoring; I believe the officials have cost the Lakers a goal in a couple of games, one costing them a win. One would hope the officiating will improve as the season continues. Go Blue!
