Re: The I don't want my news here thread...
I agree with you.
I want to read about hockey here, about plays, coaching strategies, what players do ON the ice and after the leave the college game.
But remember whenever you see something on here that would would rather not see... you can tell their sponsors WHY you will not be buying their products, and you can tell USCHO that you called the sponsor... whether we like it or not, this site NEEDS the sponsorship money... your visits pay the bills...
Trivino is now guilty forever, no matter what... and if he is "not proven guilty, then everyone will "already know" that it was based on some sort of BS "technicality" Criminal matters need to be left out of hockey news
lotta scare quotes, sorry... I learned that "down by the river" "in a van"
Complaint:
The evening news is a place where the talking heads greet us with the prerequisite "Good Evening" and for the next 30 minutes, tell us why the evening is anything but good!
Count me as one person who doesn't need a fix of negativity (particularly) in the hockey world...
So when I see the headliner with the BU kid, all I think of is the "gritty" reporter digging for some good dirt!
Dear USCHO, I really like this site...but (in my opinion) leave the investigatative reporting to the evening news.
If you posters are like minded, join this thread to show USCHO we can do without the negativity. Because, afterall, we get enough crap from our media as is.
