So I've been replaying GTA 4, which came out in 2008 or so. What truly amazes me is how absolutely dead-on accurate Rockstar Games got the right wing talk radio shows in both GTA 4 and 5. It's the same ridiculous garbage they're whining about now. Sure, the specifics might be a little different. But it's the exact same cruelty. The exact same selfishness. The exact same levels of aggressive ignorance. I know it's parody but my god it's indecipherable from reality.

Lindsey’s tweet reminds me of that quote from the Gospel of Luke 25:7-8 Jesus says: “Fuck those immigrants. Everything I said about do unto others as you would have them do to unto you. That was transcribed wrong by Luke. Who is Venezuelan and part of the problem.”
Democrats are outraged that human beings are being trafficked as a political stunt. Republicans are outraged that a cartoon mermaid is black. any questions

The GOP’s nominee for Nevada governor said Thursday he would fight against a national abortion ban if Congress were to pass one.
“It’s the vote of the people within the state of Nevada, and I will support that,” Joe Lombardo, who is generally anti-abortion, told reporters while campaigning in the state with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin. “That is an issue that doesn’t need to be in politics.”
Nevada voters codified the right to abortion up to 24 weeks into law in a 1990 referendum. Any order to further restrict abortion would have to come from a vote of the people, not the state legislature, unlike in many other states.
he's lying
He's a conservative.
A recent speech by Rep. Lauren Boebert — during which she invoked the end times and said it's time for Christians to "rise up" — demonstrated how Christian nationalist ideals, including some associated with violence, have made it to the halls of Congress.
"It's time for us to position ourselves and rise up and take our place in Christ and influence this nation as we were called to do," the Colorado Republican told the crowd at a Christian conference held by the Truth and Liberty Coalition in Woodland Park, Colorado, on September 9.
"We need God back at the center of our country," she added.
Boebert heavily quoted scripture in her speech. She framed the formation of the US as divinely inspired and described the founding fathers as men of faith who were motivated by God — contentions that have been challenged by historians.
"We know that we are in the last of the last days," Boebert later said, referencing the belief held by some evangelical Christians that Jesus will return after a period of tribulation, or great suffering, and save believers. "But it's not a time to complain about it. It's not a time to get upset about it. It's a time to know that you were called to be a part of these last days. You get to have a role in ushering in the second coming of Jesus."
Boebert's comments expressing an intrinsic tie between the US and Christianity aren't new: In June she said she was "tired of this separation of church and state junk" and that "the church is supposed to direct the government." But by invoking the end times, Boebert is tapping into a side of Christian nationalism that has been associated with violence.
Boeberts high school government teacher needs to be beaten over the head with his textbook.
Two things:
1. Boebert didn't graduate from high school.
2. The high school education she did receive was in Rifle, Colorado, where Government is a 12th grade class.
Thus, I highly doubt she took Government class.
Of course, I can only imagine what Government class is like at Rifle High School. The Science curriculum is only two semesters: (1) Old Testament; and (2) New Testament. : p![]()
And the NEW anchor of Fox News didn't ask the hard questions. Wallace would have. They've downgraded.
It's Colorado. There may be an AP class in the Book of Mormon.
No he wouldn't have. Wallace asked milquetoast questions that seemed hard because the rest of Faux asked nothing of value. Wallace is overrated and only really went against Faux on anything because he personally disliked Trump.
