Which is what the lawyers on twitter were saying when this broke. They figured by the DOJ would be so far ahead of this none of it would matter.

And let's face it, 60% of this country's people are deplorable, but half of them are ours and they aren't goose stepping around with AR-15s.

Lavarello had pleaded guilty to the charge in July 2021.

Like Kep has said regarding Dobbs, they caught the car and don't know what to do now. I think we can probably manipulate them this way with the 2nd Amendment.
 
For a long time we libs have claimed that Rs never put forward any policy ideas, only a constant effort to demonize Ds and spread fear about all threats to the white male power structure. It seems now that libs have taken that approach. We go on and on about what dangerous idiots magas are and what idiotic things they do and say. It is what we do now.

The current administration has had some fine legislative wins of late, while the Dems have also been blocked many times over through recent times in seriously attempting to pass others. I get what you're saying in general and I sometimes grow tired of the rhetoric, but I don't agree the overall big picture is quite so dour.

I had to look this up only to find out "reality winner" wasn't a description of a contestant from Big Brother but rather the actual name of a person. \_(ツ)_/

Yes. She did. It was wrong to put her in jail for so long. But, we cracked down on that sort of thing while Republicans were in office and Republicans were not committing the crime. Now that a Republican has committed the crime and the Democrats are in charged we can't be bothered with such things.
