It should be noted that the group who funded the proposition for our new election system intend to spread it to other states, and Republicans absolutely hate it.

Pretty much.

Here in Alaska, Republicans hate for our new system is dependent on what part of the party you fall into.

The party elites hate it because they have no control over the primary and the “wrong” people are winning. The MAGAts hate it because it’s an election. All Republicans hate it because it actually requires voters to educate themselves and think.

We treat large portions of our population so badly that if we were a foreign country, we'd probably be placing sanctions on that country.
