Going back to Handy’s point, I just drove past a house that had two printed sheets in plastic protective sleeves that the owner posted on two of his trees. “Don’t blame me, I voted for Trump!” and “No Woke Zone!”

It would be fun for someone to come by with a sign of their own, “Homeowner is clearly a Triggered Snowflake.”

MAGA's seriously don't realize that Busch and Bud are the same company... Like that's moronic, even by their standards, lol.

Well as someone who has cater bartended for 17 years I can say usually domestic macros tend to come from the same company.

There's all of 2, right? InBev and Molson-Coors. Both foreign-owned.

Biggest American-owned brewery these days is either Yeungling or Sam Adams depending on the year.

There are like 5 or 6 companies that own a vast majority of alcohol brands in the world. Diageo, Constellation, InBev, Molson Coors (which is actually lower in the top 10 I think) Pernod Ricard and a few others. Even a lot of "craft" breweries and distilleries fall under these umbrellas. All are foreign owned.

Does it outdrink Missouri in Busch products?

Not sure but it probably does. I believe they said Chicago out drank all of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Missouri combined. Every bundled pallet we walked past was tagged to go to Chicago.

I just remember that tidbit from touring the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee. Free tour was worth it for the free three full sized samples at the end.

(IIRC the couple times I did it, they serve you two (MGD, Miller Lite) and you pick the third (seasonal Leinenkugel was the popular one).

I wonder which American city is most reasonable when it comes to drinking. There are binge cities and uptight cities. Is there anywhere people just... drink in moderation?

Maybe Dixie? I can't imagine how unpleasant it would be to be drunk in that godawful weather.

Fun fact: I spent a week in Italy, where the whole family has wine with dinner, even fairly young children, and despite being in some of the worst parts of Rome late at night I never saw a single person who was drunk. There's a theory that alcohol not being seen as a sign of maturity removes the mystique and cuts down on binge drinking.

This was also true in Austria, but there I never saw a single person smile, either. I didn't care for the fine people of Austria although my god they make Coloradons look out of shape.

Fun fact: the city of Chicago proper out drinks the entire state of Wisconsin in Miller products.

Another fun fact:

Michelob Golden Draft Light outsells Bud and Bud Light in every market it is in. Because of that AB restricts sales to 6 states to avoid embarrassing the name brand. You can't even get it in St. Louis.

Doubtful. Drunk idiot Southerner is basically a meme. They pretend they're all "Christian" and say they don't drink then steal the beer out of your cooler.

Still my favorite beer, although I haven’t had a drop of alcohol in 10 years. What is it, the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and…?
