I mean, they passed the ACA. That's not nothing. Should they have done more in hindsight, sure. But the GOP hadn't gone full derp yet.

Dems never lockstep when it comes to getting stuff done. Repubs always do. Mitt will cry and whine and then vote for the most extreme BS they come up with. Manchin and the psycho from Arizona will not.

This was my thought as well. The gop hadn't gone insane in 2008. Crazy, as_sholes, but not full on insane yet.

And in other news, the judge ruling in the competing summary judgement requests from Fux News and Dominion has ruled almost entirely in the favor of Dominion.

The judge has said that it is crystal clear that what Fux was reporting about Dominion was false. And also, that Fux cannot argue that it was simply fairly reporting news stories of the day, or that what they were saying was simply opinion.

Therefore, Fux cannot raise these arguments in their defense. They cannot claim they were simply reporting the news, they cannot claim that what they were saying was just opinion, not fact. The only defense that the judge has left for them to avail themselves of is that they acted without malice in making those claims.

Fux is fucked.
