The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

Sounds like jealousy to me
Yea, I can understand it though, must be tough coming from a large state with a very SHORT list of unimpressive NCAA appearances that is so close to a tiny state with a LONG list of NCAA titles.

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

So who's going to be at THE GAME on Friday?

I know the following will be there:

Prezdejohnson09
CrosbyNU63
PuckVoice

Anyone else?

Steve Day

Steve,

still gotta meet you. I'll be at the VIP seating side directly across from the press box all game taking stats. Stop on by. That goes for all Midd fans or NU fans that post on here too. Always nice to put a face to a name.

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

I've been to Kreitzberg twice this season for games of interest, but I don't think that I'll bother with this one. After all the Panthers lost to Tufts, Wesleyan and a host of others. Might as well just hand the "W" to the Cadets now and be done with it.;)

Sandbagger!

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

I would really love to be there, for one more GAME, even looked for tickets for Sheri and me to get there and surprise the Hounds and Tony and Gail (maybe sleep on their couch). But alas, couldn't swing it. This is one time I feel bad about moving to Colorado. I hope you all enjoy it, even those Panther fans who show up.

Of course, we will watch Norwich win on the NSN feed.

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

That's a shame

I'm just the stat guy.

But I'm all for free food and soda :)

I will give Middlebury credit. It's the only press box I have ever sat in that feeds you with pizza, hot dogs, water and soda etc. (Granted, that may have been because it was the NCAA women's Frozen Four. But none the less ;). Hats off to the Panthers for that )

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

Sigh, that's on me. I should have made the effort to keep that going for the final time as well. My apologies to all the long time attendees from both sides.

I've been informed that there was a plan to have a party but because of the Friday game and due to the late arrival of the Middlebury bus, there will be no reception o Friday.

However, there will be one on Saturday after the Williams game at the American Legion.

I was told that the BLC contacted the Friends of Panthers (or whatever it is called) and they were not interested in doing anything.

Re: The GAME 2011-Counting for the very last time

THE GAME is officially SOLD OUT to the general public.

If you don't have a ticket right now, don't walk up to the door expecting to get in.

I thought Kreitzberg never turned anyone away. At least that's what I've been told in the past.
