My friend, the son of a Nigerian general, was going to give me the $22 million in diamonds today, but he bet it all on Nigeria today. I'm afraid I won't see a cent of that money now. :(

Not to worry. I placed a $20 million bet on France with his bookie, and I'll be happy to share the proceeds with you if you pay me half of the $100k transfer fee.:)

Yep. He's another who (like Memo Ochoa) is a free agent this summer and probably made himself a bunch of money with good performances on a big stage.

Feel bad for Scarlet that Greece went out, but cool to see Costa Rica advance.

40 minutes in and I'd say equal chances on both sides. Since France is supposed to have more talent, I'd say Nigeria has played better so far.

I have to wonder how close he came to "game speed" during practice over the last week... I'd hate for him to come in and have him at just 80%....
