That still wouldn't have eliminated Mexico in the group stages. That's all on Croatia. And Cameroon, to a lesser extent.

Sure, but a Brazil win earlier means Croatia would have advanced with a draw. Which, obviously, they didn't pull off, but might have been able to if they'd set out with that mindset from the start, rather than having to force the game.

Mexico is advancing and it's still unclear whether USMNT will move on...:confused:

Have some of you actually watched Mexico during the WC? They are playing much better than during qualifying.
