Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

This is setting up perfectly for the US. They HAVE to take advantage of this. They just have to.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

3-0 Germany. Die Mannschaft is looking awesome... and Portugal is looking that inept.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

The Germans scare me. But the way the Portuguese are playing, if we get by with a W today that Germany match won't mean much.

i will say that was disgraceful acting by muller

But the red card was for pepe's actions thereafter. Fully deserved simply for being an idiot if nothing else.

That half went about as well as it could from a u.s. perspective. 3-0 lead for Germany, 2 cards, and an injury.

A result tonight and the u.s. is actually in great shape.

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

even after the slight head bump muller embellished though. didn't think that was part of german DNA

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

oh no question you simply can't do that if you're pepe

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

khedira and ronaldo exchanged shirts at half? ya that's bizarre

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

And two Portuguese players run into each other on a scoring chance...

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

Somebody on Portugal pulled a hammy or groin. Could Portugal 2014 be France 2010?

this is too good to be true. we will proceed to lose to ghana 2-1 as usual

Re: The FIFA World Cup Thread (Spoilers Welcome)

It's Coentrao that's out. He's one of their top defenders. The U.S. is certainly getting what it needs. The question is can they capitalize.
