Lord help us if Howard hangs it up before 2018.
Even if he doesn't, Guzan is still probably the starter.Lord help us if Howard hangs it up before 2018.
Lord help us if Howard hangs it up before 2018.
people are saying that but didn't the announcers say the flag was up for offsides?
Say what you want, but the US is still improving. Still a long way to go (obviously), but our field players will almost certainly be better in '18 than they were this year.
If we'd won this one, it would have been the greatest injustice of the cup so far. Just do not have the poise and presence to dictate the game.
Predict the 2018 Roster:
Brad Guzan
????
????/Tim Howard (if he doesn't hang 'em up)
Deandre Yedlin
John Brooks
Timmy Chandler
Fabian Johnson
Geoff Cameron?
????
????
????
Michael Bradley
Mix Diskerud
Graham Zusi
Julian Green
Stuart Holden (until he gets injured in 2017)
????
????
????
Aron Johannsson
Jozy Altidore
Terrance Boyd
????
Doubtful. Rimando is 35.Rimando has to be in there as a backup i would think.
Yeah, but by the looks of it they might have been wrong.
Brad Guzan is no Howard, but he's no slouch either.
Good God, Wondo will be seeing that one in his nightmares for ages.

So what you're saying is: it would've been a little gauche if we were celebrating it?What everyone seems to be ignoring is that it wouldn't have counted anyway because the flag was up for offsides.
right. i'm just saying it doesn't matter because it wouldn't have counted anyway
we have some good pieces but maintaining the ball more and defending are still the top two priorities.
i like de bruyne
Announcers said shortly thereafter that the flag was up for a goal kick, not offsides, and he was clealrly onside, so it would have been very unfortunate if he scored and the flag was, indeed, for offside, because it would've been a terrible call.
