Looking at a replay of the goal, I think Howard made a mistake falling down. I know how stupid it sounds for me to question him, but staying upright might have forced a miss.

That said the US owned the ball from that point and if they come out of the half playing like that they will eventually get rewarded.

This is survivable... Just had one bad stretch to start the match... This team does play well late into a match... Have to trust our fitness level... Use that to create opportunities...

It was effectively a 3x0. Howard was boned, 7 ways 'til Sunday.

It's feeling like one of those games where the field tilts one way, but the finishing lets the dominating team down. Really don't want to have to rely on Ghana to bail us out with draw. Don't see us drawing a motivated Germany.
