Re: The Dead thread - God sorts 'em out!

I know it's been dormant for a couple of years, but I'd love to bring back the old USCHO Dead Pool. Would anyone be interested in bringing it back?

I'd do it again, but I don't think I could organize it this time. We quit doing it because there were only about 3 of us that wanted to do it.

Carol Doda - age 78.Only those in my generation would most likely know her name. others interested should just search for her name. She was a 'big' hit at the Condor Club and Big Al's in San Fransisco.

Didn't she precede Morganna as an on-field greater? I'm 60 and I remember her.

One of the first famous boob jobs. 33 to 44 in one jump.

I also am a self-admitted arse-man. If I can bounce a quarter off of it...yes please.

4-time AWA heavyweight champion and WWE Hall of Famer Nick Bockwinkel, 80.

This may sound weird after a guy dies, but it's nice to see one of them live to a ripe old age.

During his era, they weren't performing so many of the acrobatic moves, and they weren't pumped up on steroids like we saw starting in the 80's (late 70's, maybe).

And they didn't do wheelbarrows full of cocaine in the 60s & 70s.

I lived in the SF area (Walnut Creek) for a few years as a teenager. I remember those commercials very well.
From the late-1960s through the late-1970s, Doda was the spokesmodel for what is now the San Jose, California television station KICU-TV Channel 36, then known as KGSC-TV. Filmed from the waist up and wearing clothes which amplified her most prominent physical attributes, she would coo "You're watching the Perfect 36 in San Jose." She would also occasionally appear on-air to do editorial commentary on the issues of the day.

Hall of Famer Bert Olmstead, 89. Olmstead won 5 Stanley Cups, played with the Habs, Leafs and Blackhawks and coached the California Golden Seals.

Inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1985, Olmstead played on Montreal's top line with Maurice Richard and Elmer Lach and later Jean Beliveau and Bernie Geoffrion.

Tis true. I do like the crop of some certain wrestlers in the WWE like a Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan and others that look like wrestlers back in the day.
