Joe: The real stuff was the green bottle-PhisoHex. PhisoDerm was a useless replacement without the most important ingredient.

PhisoHex had 6X the Hexaclorophene of Dial soap and worked wonders for me in basic training.

So why was it banned? The Hexochlorophine?

Joe; Read my post earlier-i wasn't being too sarcastic. It was just not wise to dip infant burn patients in the stuff. So often a valuable drug is either over used in a way that it has toxic side effects or used in an incorrect fashion with the same result. I am pretty sure the FDA today would never approve aspirin for use since it has a long list of side effects-gastritis, eighth nerve toxicity, easy bruising and bleeding, etc. Used correctly it saves olives, used incorrectly, well the powers that be have to protect the public. Not exactly the same but it is sort of like what is happening with the opioids. Used correctly, they are great pain relievers and super antiemetics and cough suppressants and even antidiarrheal agents. But the potential for abuse is making it harder and harder to prescribe for those patents who absolutely need them. God forbid the blame for abuse, overdose, illegal diversion and sale of the drug be put where it belongs. No, instead control and limit the legitimate prescribing so that those who truly need the benefits of the drugs may not be able to get them. Having to jump through hoops and limiting the prescribing of these drugs for terminal patients and others in severe pain most certainly will stop all the illegal use and sales of these drugs.

I swear I'll pistol-whip the next guy who says "Shenanigans".

Albert Maysles, one of the film-making brothers best known probably for The Rolling Stones' film Gimme Shelter, and I also believe they worked on Woodstock as well.

Correction: It was Monterrey Pop.

I read the article. Underneath there is a section "you may like" with links to The Power of the Cli_oris and The Science Behind Why Men Like Butts
I ask you- what the hell do these things have to do with some actor being dead at age 36?

It's not the actor dying at 36 that makes the connection, it's the fact that Miller Highlife is on the page. Beer. Clits. Butts. It all comes together.
