Yikes. He's 91. Ford and Reagan were the oldest ex-presidents at 93. (Carter is 90, but he seems immortal.)

Good bar bet trivia: Jimmy Carter has lived the longest after his presidency -- 35 years and counting. (I'd have guessed TR -- he's not even close.)

Bush Senior has held the Oldest Living Ex-President belt for 8.5 years. Hoover held it for 31 (!) years.

It seems impossible to think you could be the oldest ex-president for that long, but Wilson, Taft and Harding were all dead by the time he was done. Add to that: his successor died in office 12 years after taking it, and there wasn't a new ex-president for a good 16 years after he left office.
