F1 driver Jules Bianchi, from injuries stemming from a crash at last year's Japanese Grand Prix.

Last year's?!

He was in a persistent vegetative state since the crash 9 months ago. It could have been worse. Rick Baldwin suffered in similar fashion after a qualifying crash in a NASCAR race at Michigan Speedway, but his was over a decade. He was injured in 1986 and died in 1997, never having regain consciousness.

Alex Rocco. :(

Sonofabitch! Do you know who I am? I'm Moe Greene! I made my bones when you were going out with cheerleaders!

I love that scene.

I have to say my fave scene is the Woltz dinner scene. "She was beautiful! She was young, she was innocent. She was the greatest piece of ass I've ever had, and I've had 'em all over the world!"

Different movie, right? That's in 1, Mo Green's in 2?

My favorite scene in 1 is the hospital; that for my money is Pacino's best acting in the series, and the only time he gets within a mile of where he was in Dog Day Afternoon.

In 2, it's this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPmTp9up26w

Moe gets whacked in the sauna at the end of I. The organ music, coupled with the baptism of Michael Rizzi was spectacular.

Plus Michael announcing the Baptisimal promises as each Don gets whacked, one per promise. BRAVO!!

Re: The Dead thread - God sorts 'em out!

Fabrizzio gets whacked in the Buffalo pizzaria in the outtakes in II (Godfather Saga). Maybe you were thinking of him?

Nope, I was just brain farting, since so much of II is in Vegas.

OMG - THANK YOU! I thought I remembered that scene but every time I've watched II I never see it. It must have happened when one of the networks took I and II and spliced it all together as one long movie.

Topic? Alex Rocco was from the same part of Somerville that my dad is from. He takes a lot of pride in that.
