Aw, Lenny Wilkins was one of the first basketball stars I remember during his All-American career at Providence College. Sad to hear this news. So many of my childhood heroes are just so old now.

I received a call from my SIL today, and it started with a tone that I knew couldn’t be a happy message. My oldest brother, who was born in 1960, was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s some years ago. Within the past couple days, he’s no longer taking food. Before EOY, I am expecting a trip to GA for his funeral. It’s been a hard day.
