The second half of my best friend duo, my beautiful 14 year old girl, 11 months after her brother.

I always said I hoped she went quick someday, and she gave me that. $800 a few weeks ago on checkup and blood tests (kidney disease, vaccinations, etc) and all looked great.

Last Wednesday, she ate as normal early, then by noon she was having issues walking and then vomiting. Took to er, they said she has something similar to vertigo and while likely due to age, it could be a brain tumor. She’s not getting better, won’t really eat, and is incredibly anxious. So we’re relaxing at home, and in a few hours, she’ll pass peacefully in the yard with me next to her.

Man it’s gonna be weird to not have either of them around.

Oh wow. So sorry to hear this.
 
My condolences. It’s hard losing pets. I’ve had three dogs that have been dear to me, but never at the same time.
