I thought I read awhile ago the US do a big campaign naturalize guys to build up a squad for this. Certainly a monumental upset since it’s, you know, Pakistan, but it’s not like there’s been a huge swell in cricket talent in the US. Though there has been a lot of investment the last five years.

Mostly kidding. I've attended a few cricket matches both in England and in Bahrain. It's entertaining to a point, but compared with other international fare such as football, rugby and Aussie rules it doesn't do that much for me.
