The Countries: Forget it, Burkina Faso, Michigan is still the worst.

Canada's snap election is tomorrow. Polling has Trudeau's liberal party pulling back into the lead but still needing partners for a coalition.

Watching CTV's coverage of their election. They do it like every other civilization: red is left, blue is right. We need to bite the bullet and make the switch.

Predictions have the Conservatives getting a plurality but the NDP giving Trudeau's Liberal party coalition the government.

Looks like the Liberals will get a plurality and form a minority government.

Looking at the results compared to the last election it seems nothing has really changed, Trudeau still sucks but the Conservatives do too.

This is good news; early returns had the Cons flipping a bunch of Liberal seats and I was worried.

As I understand it, we used the same color scheme too, but some graphics f-up caused the switch back in the 70s. I want to say Nixon might’ve been involved in that election.

Red is seen as a power color in the business world. Crisp white shirt, bold red tie, a dark colored suit. It's easy to see why the GOP has co-opted red as their color.

It used to be that on the EV boards on the network coverage of election night, blue was the incumbent and red was the challenger. Or maybe the other way around. Anyway, the parties would switch.

Traditionally, red is the left and blue is the right.

Of course they do; that's why we have antifa in the first place.

Well, if this is fascism:

  • Totalitarian regime: One dictator has total control.
  • Extreme militaristic nationalism: An individual’s devotion to the state is strictly enforced.
  • Disdain for electoral democracy: Leaders don’t need to be elected from a group of candidates.
  • Oppose political liberalism: The government must protect the people at all costs.
  • Oppose cultural liberalism: The government must protect a specific culture at all costs.
  • Rule of the elites: There’s a natural hierarchy of people.
  • Creation of a people’s community: Individual interests are subordinate to the good of the nation.
  • Corporatist economy: Society is organized by “corporations” that are subordinate to the state.
  • Mass mobilization: Leaders win popular support and power through mass gatherings of the public.
  • Oppose decadence: A fascist state fights, by any means, against characteristics like materialism and cowardice.
  • Physical force: Violence is deemed necessary to combat opponents.

then the reason we have Antifa in the first place is the Catholic Church since the Concordat of Worms* of 1122.

* Naturally, in Germany
