Yes, see for example the 2nd post on this thread where as one example it states:
03/19/1949 Minnesota did not make the NCAA Tourney, so Boston College gets an Alternate Belt
Those Belts didn't unify until 03/12/1953. It shouldn't take that long this time.

I think some lines didn't update. Michigan is still listed as the challenger for the B1G belt and Princeton still has the Ivy with Brown as the challenger.
