AIC's next Atlantic Hockey game (and thus next AHC belt defense) is @Army on 11/1/2019.

They play against UMass for a pair of non-conference games next weekend, so they can't be playing RIT (who's at Air Force) on 10/24.
 
How does UMD have the NCHC belt when DU is off to a 6-0 start andranked #1?

Because tUMD hasn't played an NCHC team since March 23rd (when they won the belt (or retained it)) and won't be challenged for the belt until it plays DU November 8th?

If I am not mistaken, Army and Robert Morris holding the belt for the first time shortens the list of teams to never have held the belt.

I wonder how many mistakes I have made that no one has caught. :( This one I would have caught when the game isn't on the schedule on Thursday.

Army held the Belt for the first time from 12/2/17 when they beat Colgate until 12/8 when they lost to Merrimack.

The following have not held the Belt
Holy Cross
Sacred Heart
Canisius
Mercyhurst
Bentley
Bemidji State (have held alternate belts)
Penn State (have held alternate belt)
Arizona State

So if Penn State beats Robert Morris on Friday to take the Belt, and Wisconsin walks out of its series with Clarkson with the Alternate Belt this weekend, we will have a consolidation next week.

Does the records committee have any idea of when the fastest consolidation of two belts held over the off-season has happened? Less than a month feels pretty quick.

I assume AMC was talking about times when the belt was split at the end of the season as a result of the belt-holder not qualifying for their conference playoff.
