Back to the game/s...

#1 ranked team in the country & we get a shot at them 3 times in a week.. at 3 different venues.

It is a great opportunity.. hopefully we can take some advantage of it. :)

I'm looking forward to the effective 3 game series vs. BC. It's going to be UGLY by Saturday at Matthews which will be sold out.

The kids aren't exactly the subject of the joke; it's aimed at the organization that allowed it to happen. Unfortunately, "The religion to which your school is aligned has been ludicrously lacksidasical when it comes to protecting the children that were put in its custody; it's a criminal offense, and astonishing that the church could simply look the other way while priests continued to do unspeakable things" doesn't exactly fit a cadence.

But you have a point; some people may have a trigger from that chant. To those people, all you need to know is that it's not aimed at the kids (the "you"), but at the horrible people who did it and allowed it to happen. Perhaps a "molester priest" chant might work a bit better.

Arguments about best fans/chants
Complaints about officiating/Benedetto (though that can be found in any Hockey East thread)
Discussion about the relevance/irrelevance of BC Football
Extremely stupid and uncalled for comments (Travis Roy)
A multipage flamewar about something that has absolutely nothing to do with hockey (this year it's about the Catholic Church scandal)

Am I missing anything? The one thing I think that this Beanpot thread has been missing is a random WCHA fan coming in here and saying something along the lines of "EAST COAST BIAS!!!!11! BU AND BC SHOULD PLAY A WESTERN TEAM IN THE BEANPOT!!!!!" If this happens then I think we'll win BINGO on this thread.

I love the people on here trying to compare a stupid, unnecessary chant about priests at a hockey game to comedians using the same material. The two aren't even close to the same thing.

If you think that chant is funny, well, I don't know what to say.
